Workshops

During the conference days we have two different workshops. Method Workshop and Occupational Healt and Safety Services Workshop.

Method workshop
Method workshop is mainly for students in the field of ergonomics. It is focused to practical work with methods for systematic analytical evaluation of cognitive and physical ergonomics aspects in the interaction between user and product (human machine interaction). Methods used in workshop are

  • HTA - Hierarchical task analysis
  • UP - User Profiles
  • CW - Cognitive Walk-through to find usability problems in the interaction
  • PUEA - Predictive Use Error Analysis - to find use errors in the interaction
  • PEEA - Predictive Ergonomic Error Analysis - to find physical ergonomic errors in the interaction

We ask that everyone who is participating this workshop will bring techincal products familiar with, e.g. mobile, iPad, music player, alarm clock, pulse watch, remote control, calculator, camera, navigator, hairdryer, coffee machine or whatever.

Responsible chairs:
Anna-Lisa Osvalder and Lars-Ola BligÄrd

Occupational Healt and Safety Services Workshop
The objectives of the workshop are to compare OHS in different countries and discuss the implications of these factors for OHS education. The aim is to achieve a better understanding of the implications of the national context on OHS services and organisation but also to benchmark and learn from experiences from different countries.
